• 3-5 Aug 77 Multiple Boardings off North East Coast during Salmon Patrol. Four arrests, one prosecution.
• 23 Dec 77 Salvaged Greek MV ‘Fast Bird II’ off St Ives

Mentioned in Domesday Book as Seafa's Farmstead. Gresty means  Wolf''s Trail.

In 2021 the Parish Council re-activated the affiliation with TCA and has invited TCA to be represented at their Remebrance Day Commemoration
