  • 1st October 1962 Sailed from Portsmouth for Australia

Paid Off:
Disposal: Had chequered career for over ten years as trawler for shell fish in Australia, then diving boat in Mediterranean and West Indies. Bought by University of Near East in Cyprus c. 1995. For many years TEAL operated as Maritime Research vessel and training ship for Cypriot merchant marine officers. Retired in 2015, a special wet dock was built for her in Girne (formerly Kyrenia) in Northern Cyprus, where it was proposed to convert her into museum ship, art gallery and cultural centre. By 2024 no work on the conversion had been reported.
