VILLAGE

A Cotswold village in Warwickshire, 8 miles South of Stratford on Avon.

In 10th Century known as Ylmanunes in Old English, which evolved  into Elmington, due to the many elm trees in the area.

These were destroyed by Dutch Elm Disease in 1960's.
