- 8 Jan 63 9th MSS arrived at new base in Bahrain.
- 1963 Patrolling Aden area and Southern Gulf
- 1964-65 Gulf patrols and Exercises, some with Iranian Navy
- 14 Oct 65 Left Bahrain to reduce to reserve in Gibraltar
- November 1962 At Karachi for Exercise MIDLINK 5.
- October 1964 Re-Commissioned in Middle East.
- April 67 Commissioned for service in Fishery Protection Service
