HMS Brenchley M2004, Builders - Saunders-Roe, Built - 22/09/54

1954 - 60 Served in 51st Minehunting Squadron and selected to participate in Operation Musketeer, the Suez Campaign of 1956, to clear mines and obstructions in Alexandria harbour. They deployed to Malta in September and participated in some work up exercises, but when the plan for landings was shifted to Suez, the minehunters were withdrawn from the Order of Battle and returned to Britain in October before the task force sailed for Suez.
