Report of the July meeting of the White Rose branch held in York.

Present, Terry Foreman, Trevor Dixon, Alan Hewitt, Clive Dennison, "Pincher" Martin, Phil Fluke and myself. Allan Brown.

Apologies were received from Pancho Brett and  Jeremy MackRell ( due to ill health), Jim Virgo ( broken arm), Ken Rutherford and Dave Parrish.

I gave an update on correspondence received and our present finances.

We have one WR tot glass left in stock and it was agreed that Terry would have six more engraved. We sell these to new members for cost plus £2 to the branch. Some are put aside to present to special guests.

Dates for the diary are Saturday the 7^th September, WR meeting/meal. Sunday 8^th September Eden Camp near Malton  for All Services Remembrance Parade. 5 members are attending.

After "Up Spirits" and a toast to HM the King and absent friends we passed around photos of our time in the RN. We all had more hair and were a lot slimmer then. Phil passed around more of his maritime artifacts.

Later the ladies and family members joined us for a meal. Another good meeting enjoyed by all.
