I served on HMS YAXHAM 1960-62, attached to the Underwater Weapons Research Establishment at Portland. We visited Great Yarmouth and had a trip to Brest to pick new sweeping gear for trials.  We also went to West Bay for a visit as requested by the RNA at Bridport.  Following that we exercised in the Baltic and had a visit to Uddevalla in Sweden, returning via the Kiel Channel
