1955 - 56 Served in 232nd Inshore Minesweeper Squadron and selected to participate in Operation Musketeer, the Suez Campaign of 1956, to sweep the shallow water of the approaches to Alexandria harbour. They deployed to Malta in September and participated in some work up exercises, but when the plan for landings was shifted to Suez, the Inshores were withdrawn from the Order of Battle and returned to Britain in October before the task force sailed for Suez.
