Outline of Operational Career:
- May 54 - June 60 Wessex Division RNR based at Southampton, named HMS WARSASH.
- July 60 – Dec 75 Renamed HMS KILMOREY and transferred to Belfast Division RNR.
- Early 1976 – July 77 Renamed HMS ALFRISTON and transferred to the Fishery Protection Squadron based in Rosyth. The conversion took place in Plymouth and the Ship’s Company transferred from HMS HIGHBURTON, that ship having been condemned by Naval Constructors. Served in the FPS under the command of Lieutenant J N Martin RN
- Iain McRobbie, LWEM(R) says it was the crew of POLLINGTON, of which he was part, who transferred to ALFRISTON in February 1985 for FPS in Rosyth 13/1/24
- July 1977 – June 85 Refitted in Plymouth and returned to RNR Southampton.
